Pardon the lack of creativity in the title… my brain is saturated today! 🙂 I wanted to just share with you two video clips of two duets I played with one of the high schoolers who lives here at the training center with his siblings, cousins, and aunt and uncle. The parents of Juan Daniel, Ronald, Amy & Emily are gospel workers in an indigenous group here in Venezuela and the four teenagers live here so they can attend high school, since the government banned homeschooling a couple of years ago). I’ve enjoyed getting to know this musical family the past week. Juan Daniel is the one playing the violin and Ronald is the one playing the guitar in one of the videos.
I haven’t played the violin much at all the past years and hadn’t read music since high school! It was fun to play with such excellent musicians.
