Good morning!
G and I arrived last night in Caracas, Venezuela and are about to head out to Valera. In a city not to far from Valera, we will have a chance to spend two weeks teaching courses in Second Language Acquisition and Translation (G will teach and I will help out with the “lab” section of Second Language Acquisition).
We arrived at this guest house in Caracas last night and were welcomed by our hosts who brought us to a local bakery to get a sandwich. We came back and I fell asleep almost right away in the beautiful air-conditioned room. I enjoyed good rest and a beautiful early morning! Thanks for praying that this will be an effective two weeks and that we’ll walk in all God has for us!
Random fact: The time difference between MN/Colombia and Venezuela is a half hour later (odd, I thought!).
