My life has been full of packing for the past week or so.

I’ve always enjoyed packing. Looking through some old notebooks lately, I especially enjoyed seeing the various lists I’ve put together over the years for camps, church trips, weekend retreats, and family camping adventures.  My lists have ranged from very meticulous to barely existent (a few random words of items I wanted to be sure I remembered). I would say that my lists right now are somewhere in the middle.  They’re not perfectly organized, but they at least they exist!

I received a card from a dear friend and prayer warrior the other day.  She encouraged me in a way that will stay with me for a long time. She said that in the middle of all my packing, I need to remember that God has already packed my bags. He has given me everything that I need for this upcoming experience.

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

I am mostly packed. At the same time, I am fully packed. By faith, I can believe that I have everything that I need to please God and bring Him complete glory.
